  4. Assigning people to various tasks.
  5. Finding a web or blog host.
  6. Creating a site map for your website.
  7. Listing down all applications that you need including web apps.
  8. Funding

The purpose of this procedure is to ensure that ICT projects are managed in a structured way using a subset of the Prince2 project management method, ensuring that ICT projects are fully documented and controlled at all stages of implementation. The project flowchart attached shows the stages of an ICT project.

Project management is important because it ensures the right people do the right things, at the right time – it ensures proper project process is followed throughout the project lifecycle. Surprisingly, many large and well-known companies have reactive planning processes.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a huge opportunity to bring about major and enduring social change in the developed world. In particular, the rapid penetration of mobile connectivity has led to significant changes in the lives of the vulnerable in both rural and urban settings. All data shows that this pattern will continue, as supply increases and access costs continue to decrease.
